Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to write machining programs using Esprit and/or Mastercam CAM software. The role involves providing technical expertise and support to the production floor, as well as process documentation to the planning department, including set-up sheets, perishable tooling, and in-process inspection requirements. The ideal candidate will investigate process problems affecting manufacturing and quality assurance and recommend improvements to enhance performance, increase reliability, and decrease costs.

Responsibilities

• Write machining programs using Esprit and/or Mastercam CAM software.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the production floor.
• Supply process documentation, including set-up sheets, perishable tooling, and in-process inspection requirements to the planning department.
• Investigate and resolve process problems affecting manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes for better performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Essential Skills

• 10 years of experience in programming multi-axis CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of experience in Aerospace.
• Proficiency in machining materials from aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and alloy steels.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC lathe and/or mill operations.
• Proficiency in using Mastercam and/or Esprit software.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with new projects frequently coming in, ensuring a constant flow of work. The company supports high performance engine components for various industries, including motorsports, aerospace, defense, space, and medical sectors. Programmers have their own dedicated space and work closely with quality and process engineers, developing fixtures and collaborating with the setup team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
