Maintenance Engineer

Description

• Will be responsible for solving maintenance issues on machining and assembly equipment. • Troubleshooting CNC machining, conveyance, robot, and assembly machines. • Will be responsible for training maintenance team members in: machine function, machine assessment, and repair method. • This individual will need experience with automated CNC Machines, PLCs, and Manual Machines and Tooling. Also, individual must have machine assessment experience for various pieces of equipment; must be able to develop documentation for machine assessment. • This is a very hands-on position. They are looking for someone that is eager and willing to take ownership over the process. • Project/Admin scheduling /Project Planning • New Technology- understanding from a maintenance perspective • Documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Haves: • Education- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred (Mechanical specifically). • minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. • minimum of 3 years of experience working in a machining environment - Drills, Taps, Inserts, Reamers, Jigs, Fixtures, Servo Motors, Tools, Chips, Coolant Pressure, Troubleshooting CNCs. • This individual will work hand-in-hand with maintenance team members, so having good communication, documentation, and ability to train skills is a required. Nice to haves: • database management • SharePoint web development

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
