  • Stay current with industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to operationalize new technologies.
  • Work effectively in a flexible environment that embraces rapid change and emphasizes continuous learning.
  • Support the modernization and containerization of existing infrastructure to improve speed, simplicity, and usability for end users.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus 2 years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

  • Experience with container ecosystem tools and CNCF graduated projects such as ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Nexus, and Helm.
  • Ability to use CI/CD pipelines to containerize existing infrastructure and deploy it to cloud environments.
  • Experience with DISA cyber security standards and best practices.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cyber-secure infrastructure.

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship, as required for work performed in classified facilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Deep Linux administration experience beyond basic command line usage.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and deploying containerized workloads in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with additional CNCF projects and modern DevOps tooling.
  • Passion for improving the developer experience and reducing friction in shipping new features to production.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and a willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and support for the development of others.
  • Strong collaborative mindset and ability to act as a technical leader within a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with developers, operations, and security stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in environments that emphasize continuous learning and rapid iteration.
