Job Description

We are looking for a LIMS Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, responsible for the implementation and operation of our Veeva LIMS system in the manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Develop LIMS procedures for laboratories and manufacturing as needed; create and maintain documentation for LIMS processes, user guides, and system validation.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot the LIMS to support laboratory workflows and ensure data integrity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for LIMS-related issues in the laboratories and production, coordinating with IT and laboratory staff for timely resolution.
- Implement system updates, enhancements, and change controls in accordance with regulatory requirements, including GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Set up studies and sample management protocols in LIMS according to laboratory and quality requirements.
- Provide user training and support to laboratory personnel to ensure effective and compliant use of the LIMS.
- Participate in audits and inspections, providing LIMS data and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new laboratory initiatives and system integrations.
- Ensure data security, user access management, and backup procedures are in place and effective.
- Support laboratory business continuity and disaster recovery planning as it relates to LIMS.
- BS in Chemistry, Science, or relevant field with three to five years of experience in a pharmaceutical or other cGMP environment.
- One to three years of experience with LIMS systems, with Veeva LIMS experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with injectable pharmaceuticals or radiopharmaceuticals is strongly preferred.
- Experience with HPLC, TLC, GC, Gamma Spectroscopy, and ICP preferred.
- Highly motivated and organized professional with strong communication skills.
- An advanced degree with less experience is considered if the LIMS experience requirement is met.
- Experience with other modern LIMS systems such as Labware is preferred.
- Experience with root cause techniques like 6 M’s, 5 Why’s, or fishbone is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a controlled environment with ionizing radiation and able to lift 40 lbs.
- Excellent professional ethics, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
This position is 100% onsite at our Indianapolis facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday during the 1st shift, with the possibility of working on holidays as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $56.83 - $69.33/hr.
