Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple landfill gas sites located within a two-hour radius of Corning, NY. The ideal candidate will ensure high performance of Gas Collection and Control Systems (GCCS) by managing landfill gas technicians and coordinating with various operational and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee landfill gas technicians to ensure optimal performance of GCCS.
• Join and participate in gas-related calls.
• Coordinate effectively with landfill operations managers, staff, and the engineering team.
• Manage landfill gas systems across multiple sites.
• Hire, mentor, train, and manage staff.
• Develop and manage budgets, partnering with engineering staff.
• Troubleshoot and maintain landfill gas collection systems.
• Manage compliance databases.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of experience managing landfill gas systems.
• Proven experience in managing multiple landfill sites.
• Proficiency in landfill gas field sampling and use of field monitoring tools.
• OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mentoring and training technical staff.
• Strong skills in budgeting and financial management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on complex systems.

Work Environment

The role involves managing multiple landfills within a two-hour radius of Corning, NY, with Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects slated to start this year. The position includes travel and occasional overnight stays, with lodging arranged by the company. You will be provided with a Ford F150 take-home truck, as well as company equipment such as a phone and laptop. The company also offers annual bonuses for this role.

This is a Permanent position based out of Corning, NY.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Corning,NY.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 24, 2026.
