Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Landfill Gas Technician to join our team and support our operations and maintenance efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing landfill well data using the eTools system, maintaining and troubleshooting pumps, and performing SEMs and probe readings and tunings. You will also have the opportunity to work with company equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze landfill well data using the eTools system.
• Perform pump maintenance including pulling, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and replacing.
• Conduct landfill gas tuning and reading.
• Operate SEMs and probes effectively.
• Perform data entry and collection.
• Engage in environmental testing and field sampling.

Essential Skills

• Experience with landfill gas systems and environmental engineering.
• Proficiency in data entry and environmental field work.
• Mechanical experience.
• HAZWOPER certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ISCO pipe fusion certification is a plus.
• Experience with environmental testing and field sampling.

Work Environment

You will travel and train within the Shreveport/Keithville area and surrounding regions. Our company is the largest environmental engineering firm supporting landfill gas projects across the US. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, LA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
