We are seeking a skilled Land Surveying Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting data, and assisting in the preparation of survey reports and maps. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
- Collect and record accurate data on land features, boundaries, and elevations.
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of surveying equipment.
- Maintain organized records of all survey data and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in land surveying or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
