Position Title: Bio-Process Associate – 2nd Shift
Location: 100% Onsite – Devens, MA
Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Schedule Rotation:
- Week 1: Sat–Mon (3 days on), Tues–Wed (2 days off), Thurs–Fri (2 days on)
- Week 2: Sat–Mon (3 days off)
- Shift Differential: Included
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bio-Process Associate to support operations in our Biotechnology Pilot Plant. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to working in a team-based, cGMP-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate control systems and equipment in accordance with SOPs and batch records
- Prepare process buffers and reagents
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Monitor and document process data, activities, and deviations
- Report safety, maintenance, and operational issues to management promptly
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Participate in and successfully complete structured training programs
- Adhere to cGMP and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and gowning procedures
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; A.A.S. or B.S. degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in process operations or related field
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with general chemistry, microbiology, mathematics, and cleanroom operations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
Additional Requirements:
- Must be fit to perform all job duties, including working in a cGMP lab/manufacturing environment
- Strict adherence to policies prohibiting alcohol or illicit drug use while on duty or on-site
- Successful completion of training modules at 1, 3, 6, and 12-month milestones, including Biologics orientation and job-specific training
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.58 - $37.58/hr.
