Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. Under immediate supervision, you will perform routine laboratory testing, ensuring adherence to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and various testing standards. Your role is crucial in validating method performance, ensuring compliance with local and federal safety regulations, and conducting physical and consumer testing on diverse products.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing in compliance with SOPs.
• Validate performance on testing methods as required.
• Conduct tests according to applicable standards and customer-specific protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all required local and federal safety processes and procedures.
• Perform physical and consumer testing on products such as paper, corrugated materials, and personal care products.
• Conduct measurements and testing, including physical lab testing, tensile testing, chemical analysis, and absorption.

• Proficiency in Chemistry, Biology, and Laboratory procedures.
• Experience with Titration and Wet Chemistry.
• Analytical Chemistry skills.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Geology, Zoology, or any other Natural Science.
• 2 years of laboratory experience is required.
• Previous work experience or internships are preferred.
• Experience ranging from 0 to 4 years in a relevant field.

The position is based in a laboratory environment, operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role offers the flexibility to start earlier than 8 a.m. after training. This is a contract role with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
