Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Operations Specialist to provide essential support in biological sample shipping and lab maintenance. This role requires familiarity with dry ice and involves managing lab supply organization, inventory reordering, and lab waste handling.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for biological sample shipping.
- Maintain and organize lab supplies and inventory.
- Track lab operations and reorder stocked inventory as needed.
- Defrost and organize freezers.
- Organize cabinets and storage spaces.
- Handle and label chemical and lab waste safely.
- Manage lab debris and ensure a clean lab environment.
- Experience with lab equipment operation and facilities support.
- Experience in shipping and receiving in a biotech lab environment.
- Proficiency in lab waste handling and biological substance receiving.
- Strong knowledge in biology, flow cytometry, and incubator usage.
- Familiarity with dry ice and Procore software.
- Understanding of biotech/lab environment operations and hazard labels.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
