About the Role
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Lab Intern to join our Chemistry Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a scientific environment, no prior lab experience or degree required. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation and basic testing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols.
- Accurately label, store, and track samples and materials.
- Support data entry and documentation of test results.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliability and punctuality – consistent attendance is critical.
- Strong work ethic – ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail – follow instructions and maintain accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in food service, manufacturing, or other fast-paced roles is a plus.
- Interest in science or learning new technical skills (training provided).
- Okay with night shift, day shift, or evening shift. Need flexibility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
