What You’ll Do
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor tasks.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
- Support Sr/Chief Estimators in creating preliminary budgets and detailed estimates.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review drawings and technical specifications to understand project scope.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and revisions.
- Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to align on project goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
