Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Job Captain where you will have the opportunity to produce construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. You will work on a diverse range of institutional projects including municipal works, public works, educational, K-12, and higher education. While experience in healthcare or educational projects is a significant advantage, it is not a requirement. Your role will involve conducting site visits as needed, researching building codes, and being actively involved in projects from schematic design to design development and construction drawings.
Responsibilities
- Produce construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Engage in a variety of institutional projects, including municipal, public works, and educational.
- Conduct site visits when necessary.
- Research and apply building codes.
- Participate in all phases of projects from schematic design to construction drawings.
Essential Skills
- 5-15 years of experience in architecture.
- Proficiency in CD Production using Revit.
- Experience in institutional projects such as healthcare, educational, or municipal, or large-scale ground-up commercial projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Previous involvement in projects from schematic design through design development and construction documents.
- Degree in Architecture.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external engineering trades.
Work Environment
You will be joining a 50-person firm which houses two studios focusing on Healthcare and Municipal/Public projects. The firm typically shares resources between studios. For the first three months, you will work in the office four days a week with one day remote. After this period, the hybrid schedule may be adjusted based on your experience and performance. This firm offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects with a robust pipeline of work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
