Job Description

We are seeking a Interior Designer to join our New York studio. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality documentation and coordination efforts, showcasing strong Revit skills and a solid understanding of construction documentation, particularly within the context of New York City codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and technical development of architectural projects from design development through construction documentation.
• Produce accurate and coordinated Revit drawing sets in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with technical detailing, constructability, and code compliance reviews, with NYC experience strongly preferred.
• Coordinate drawings with internal team members and external consultants.
• Participate in QA/QC processes and self-check work for accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to team discussions related to design solutions, technical challenges, and documentation strategy.
• Maintain digital file standards and documentation protocols.

Essential Skills

• Professional degree in Interior Design required.
• 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience within hospitality projects
• Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

• The role is based in our New York City studio, offering a collaborative, team-based environment.
• We operate a hybrid work model, starting with full-time in-office work for the first 90 days, transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.
• Employees will have opportunities to work closely with experienced architects, project managers, and studio leadership, in a culture emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and long-term growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey City, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
