Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing interiors team. This role is perfect for a designer passionate about translating architectural concepts into meaningful interior environments and thriving in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary studio setting. The Interior Designer will work closely with architects, project managers, consultants, and clients to develop interior design solutions from concept through construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop interior design concepts aligned with overall architectural vision.
- Produce interior design documentation including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.
- Select and specify finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Prepare presentation materials, mood boards, and client-facing design documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and participate in client meetings and presentations as appropriate.
- Assist with construction administration, including submittal reviews and site visits.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr.
