Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated civil engineer to join our team, focusing on replacing lead service lines with copper ones. This role is crucial in ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of service lines and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, explaining the inspection process and addressing any concerns.
- Survey and canvass designated areas to perform plumbing inspections outside homes.
- Utilize a mobile app on a tablet to guide inspections and document findings accurately.
- Strong communication skills to interact with homeowners daily.
- Construction experience or a keen interest in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience in environmental inspections.
- Proficiency in surveying and construction processes.
This position involves canvassing and surveying residential areas. The inspector will go door-to-door, conducting plumbing inspections outside homes. A mobile app on a tablet will be provided to assist with the inspection process. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
