Job Description
This position is responsible for enhancing cycle time, process capacity, space utilization, safety, and ergonomics within the material handling and logistics environment. The role involves the use of MOST Time Studies, project management, process and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as designing and implementing new systems and functions.
Responsibilities
- Improve cycle time and process capacity.
- Optimize space usage and enhance safety and ergonomics.
- Conduct MOST Time Studies to evaluate and refine processes.
- Manage projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Drive process and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and implement innovative systems and functions.
- Benchmark new and innovative solutions for process enhancement.
Essential Skills
- Experience in industrial engineering.
- Strong background in process improvement and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1-5 years of applicable experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or logistics.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lincoln, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
