Description

• Collecting data for Direct and Indirect Labor. This will come from information systems as well as from direct observation. • Analyzing labor data against existing Standards using templates provided. Recommend template improvements if needed. • Identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions where large variances to Standards exist. • Supporting corrective action projects to minimize labor variances. • Authoring and updating technical and process documentation as required. Updating Labor Routings and Standards as required.

• Conduct labor and process studies. This will include in-person observation involving several hours daily spent in Production areas. Production areas may include a Cleanroom environment. • Collect labor data from a variety of sources. Confirm data accuracy and integrity. • Perform detailed data analysis using Microsoft Excel. • Lead yield improvements, reduce variability, support manufacturing resolving technical problems and lead product cost reduction initiatives. • Author and update technical and process documentation as required. • Develop and maintain positive rapport and working relationships with personnel across the organization in support of initiatives to execute improvements and enhancements. • Perform other duties as assigned.• Demonstrated track record of experience managing labor standards data. • Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or laboratory environment. • Lean and/or Six Sigma Training. • Project management and strong organizational and time management skills. Detail and deadline oriented. • High initiative with the ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision or direction. • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with staff at all levels within the organization.

This is a Contract position based out of Camarillo, CA.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Camarillo,CA.
