Job Description

A manufacturing organization is seeking a motivated and reliable Quality Control Technician to support laboratory and production quality activities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and procedures in accordance with standard operating protocols.
• Conduct daily testing using ovens for moisture and LOI, particle size analysis with wet screen mesh and PSD, color measurement with a color meter, titration, and chemical analysis with XRF and XRD.
• Perform additional testing depending on material, such as bulk density and gas analysis for foam products.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support manufacturing and quality objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.
• Complete quality control documentation and maintain accurate testing records.
• Support cleanliness, organization, and safety of the laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members on quality-related initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and assist with ordering chemicals and supplies.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of chemical safety and general laboratory best practices.
• Comfortable using computers, laboratory instrumentation, and basic software systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in a quality control or laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to wear a respirator during the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, laboratory, chemistry, biology, GMP, QC, wet chemistry, titration, chemical sampling, and data entry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brazil, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.50/hr.
