Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects, particularly those involving the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering geotechnical reports and assisting in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive geotechnical reports for WisDOT projects.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Understand and apply the guidelines from WisDOT's Facilities Development Manual, AASHTO Geometric Design Manual, AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, and FHWA's Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
• Contribute to roadway design using Civil 3D software.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin.
• Experience in geotechnical analysis.
• Skillful in using Civil 3D.
• At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.

Work Environment

The position is a full remote position with a Monday - Friday schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Eau Claire, WI.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
