🔍 About the Role
You’ll perform advanced laboratory testing using GC, develop and validate methods, and support method transfer activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply R&D-level skills in a QC environment while enjoying a better commute and work-life balance.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform advanced GC testing of raw materials and finished products
- Develop GC methods and execute method validation, verification, and transfer
- Operate GC instruments with headspace and direct injection capabilities
- Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections
- Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and mentor junior chemists
- 5 years of experience in GC methods development, validation, and transfer
- Strong troubleshooting skills with GC instrumentation
- Experience in pharmaceuticals and QC chemistry
- Familiarity with cGMP standards and compliance
- Bonus: HPLC, mass spectrometry, titration, wet chemistry
- Location: Queens, NY (shorter commute for many LI professionals!)
- Schedule: Full-time, in-office
- Compensation: Up to $95K (potentially $100K for top talent)
