What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time TikTok Shop & Content Creator — Women’s Footwear position at GC Shoes?
We’re looking for a creative, organized person who can produce engaging content and turn product discovery into sales. Our shop is already live—this role will help build its audience, creator partnerships, and sales momentum.
What You’ll Do
- Film and edit short videos showcasing our footwear through try-ons, styling ideas, product demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Appear on camera and demonstrate products, including fit and comfort features.
- Plan and maintain a consistent schedule of shoppable TikTok content.
- Identify, recruit, and build relationships with relevant TikTok Shop affiliate creators.
- Coordinate creator samples and follow up on content deliverables.
- Work with our existing shop operator and warehouse team on product availability, listings, and promotions.
- Track video performance, product clicks, orders, and returns, and use those results to improve content.
- Test new creative approaches and help develop live shopping sessions as the channel grows.
Who We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop, shoppable content, or affiliate creator campaigns.
- Strong short-form filming and editing skills using CapCut or similar tools.
- Comfortable presenting products on camera.
- An interest in women’s footwear, fashion, and styling.
- Organized and proactive, with strong communication and follow-through.
- Able to work in person at our Midtown Manhattan showroom
Experience generating measurable e-commerce sales is strongly preferred. We welcome applicants who can clearly explain their contribution to previous results.
