Contracts are reviewed every six months, and pharmacists here are routinely considered for long-term roles after 18–24 months.

What You'll Do

• Conduct independent reviews of utilization management requests
• Assess coverage requests with client-specific clinical criteria
• Meet monthly targets for quality and productivity
• Collaborate with pharmacy peers and clinicians
• Engage in provider and member communication if trained for call center counseling

Training & Schedule Highlights

• Training: 16 weeks | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
• Includes live instruction, interactive materials, and hands-on practice audits
• Heads-up: No time off during training (barring rare exceptions)
• Schedule After Training:
• 8-hour shifts starting at 9:00 or 10:00 AM CST
• Assigned via team bidding based on seniority
• Expect overtime during peak season (Nov–May)
• Rotating weekends and holidays—bid-based scheduling ensures fairness

Logistics & Perks

• Up to 120 hours of unpaid time off annually, depending on seniority
• 6 month initial contract with strong potential to convert to long-term
• Projected start dates: September–October
• 100% Remote – Work from anywhere (except CA, HI, or VA)
• Must hold an active pharmacist license in good standing in any other U.S. state

Ideal Candidate Profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy
• At least 2 years of experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy
• Solid decision-making skills with a knack for details and communication
• Looking for meaningful, long-term impact while working remotely

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
