Job Description

The FSQ Systems Specialist plays a critical role in managing and supporting Food Safety and Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This position involves oversight of document control, regulatory compliance at various levels, ensuring data review is correct and ready for an FDA Audit

Responsibilities

• Support the Change Control process by executing approved change requests within ERP systems and batch documentation.
• Manage item masters, customer item relationships, and bills of materials (BOMs) within ERP systems for assigned business units.
• Maintain controlled documents, including SOPs and master logs, within document management systems.
• Create, maintain, and print batch records for trials, commissioning runs, and commercial production.
• Assist the Food Safety Team in executing food safety goals, objectives, calendars, and initiatives.
• Help manufacturing teams in the design, execution, and continuous improvement of sanitation, allergen control, and Kosher programs.
• Provide technical support for HACCP, Preventive Controls, and prerequisite program verification and validation.
• Support second-party and third-party GMP, food safety, and regulatory audits, including audit responses and CAPA development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lathrop, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
