Floor Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Lead to join our team. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in a food manufacturing environment, who can ensure safety, compliance, and productivity while effectively coordinating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety checks and proactively address potential hazards.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
• Ensure all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies are strictly followed.
• Partner with QA teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes for adherence to specifications.
• Perform detailed quality and safety checks.
• Complete centerline documentation on time.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and improvements.
• Enforce GMPs and food safety policies.
• Identify and report any compliance issues.
• Verify materials and recipe accuracy on all lines.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on leadership in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety, GMP compliance, productivity, and team coordination.
• GMP, Manufacturing, Food.
• 2–3 years of food manufacturing experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kankakee, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.77 - $24.84/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Kankakee,IL.
