Job Description

Our team is currently looking for Field Technicians in the Louisiana area! This individual will be responsible for performing inventory, take measurements and pictures, perform inspections and collect data on power distribution lines and poles.

• Must be able to travel all over Louisiana.
• Lodging is provided, meals are mileage are expensed.
• Must be able to work 10 hour shift, 6 days/week, or work 8 days on and have 4 days off.
• Must be able to use your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient power distribution solutions.
• Engage in data collection and analysis to support engineering projects.
• Utilize Pole Foreman, Katapult and/or IKE GPS equipment for field data collection and project execution.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience utilizing IKE GPS, Katapul or similar equipment.
• Must have strong computer skills and be able to use Laptop or Ipad.
• Experience with Katapult or GIS is a plus.
• Must have experience working in the field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications that are helpful

• Knowledge with power distribution.
• Strong understanding of electrical design and field work.
• Knowledge of utility distribution and subsurface utilities.
• Knowledge in power delivery and power generation.

This is a Contract position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Baton Rouge,LA.
