Description
Seeking a Field Technician to perform inspection activities for various construction projects. Responsibilities: -Performs construction administration and inspection services for state, county and local roadway and bridge projects and municipal utility or infrastructure projects. -Monitors and enforces quality standards and specifications, reads construction drawings, and works on a variety of construction projects. -Inspects construction projects to ensure contractor compliance with state specifications, plans and/or proposals and bridge projects. -Verifies plan quantities and calculations with as bid plans, prepares and maintains project records and reports and performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer. -Notifies the Contractor or the Project Engineer with status updates or about non-conforming work. -May conduct hazardous material surveys, as well as asbestos abatement monitoring services during abatement projects. -Conducts quality control testing at project sites, including concrete, soils, masonry, asphalt, aggregate and reinforcing steel. -Prepares and maintains project records and reports and performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer in a timely manner. Notifies the project engineer with status updates or non-conforming work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
