Job Title: HVAC Technician – Data Centers

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on HVAC Technician in Cheyenne to support data centers and critical facilities. This is a field-based role where you’ll help keep cooling systems running 24/7 to protect sensitive equipment.

If you enjoy working with HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues, and being out on job sites, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems in data center environments
• Identify and fix mechanical and electrical system issues
• Help maintain continuous cooling performance in uptime-critical facilities
• Travel to sites in Cheyenne and surrounding areas
• Use diagnostic tools and laptops to analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Partner with engineers and team members during installations and system repairs

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in HVAC service, installation, or maintenance
• Strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Confidence working with tools, wiring, and equipment
• Ability to understand basic schematics and diagrams
• Flexibility to travel locally for service calls

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working in data centers or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with building automation or control systems (BAS/BMS)
• Previous experience in a field service role

Work Environment

• Based in Cheyenne with a steady daytime schedule
• Field-based role with travel to nearby job sites
• Work in data centers, mechanical rooms, and industrial spaces

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr.
