Field Engineer

Description

Currently sourcing for field technicians in the El Paso/Las Cruces area. Looking for candidates that have experience utilizing Katapult/IKE equipment and completing field audits.

• Confirm project/work order and assigned route before leaving
• Review scope, maps
• Complete pre-safety/JHA checklist
• Verify PPE, measuring tools, and device/tablet
• Confirm each pole/location before collecting data
• Record pole number/owner/class/height as required, using Katapult and Hasting Stick
• Record existing electric and communication attachments
• Capture required heights, clearances, spans, guys/anchors, and other measurements using the Katapult system
• Capture “proofing” measurement with Hasting Stick to aid in back office height calibration verification
• Upload/sync field data and photos to shared folder and Katapult
• Enter time, mileage, pole count, phase/task, and comments correctly
• Notify supervisor when assigned field work is complete
• Send End of Day emails with work completed for the day

Must be local to the El Paso/Las Cruces area but will be reporting to the management team in San Antonio

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Paso, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in El Paso,TX.
