Job Description

Join our team as a Field Engineer and play a hands‑on role in the electrical construction of a utility‑scale wind farm. You’ll support critical activities including trenching, AC/DC collection systems, terminations, conduit runs, inverter installation, and combiner box work—while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Promote job‑site safety and ensure proper PPE compliance
• Support superintendents and foremen with planning and daily field coordination
• Track construction schedules, including three‑week look‑ahead plans
• Inspect work for scope, quality, and contract compliance
• Administer QA/QC processes and maintain accurate documentation and logs
• Monitor quantities, material deliveries, and subcontractor progress
• Assist with material requisitions, timecards, expense reporting, and project logs
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, office staff, consultants, and owners’ reps
• Attend project meetings and support field documentation, inspections, and reporting

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in construction management and commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform inspections.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent education and experience.
• Prior construction experience, including internships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in project management and electrical construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a 100% onsite, outdoor role requiring full‑time presence on the job site. Expect 60–70 hours/week during construction season, up to 100% travel, and work in rural locations under varying weather conditions. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
