Field Engineer

Develop HVAC layouts using design documents and equipment submittal data for field application. Review plans in Revit & AutoCAD and collaborate with design engineers to address and resolve issues. Compile data for final test result reports.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experience in field engineering and project engineering.
• Proficiency with HVAC systems and design.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency in mathematics.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Competence in using HVAC DDC control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

• Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field.

The position is onsite in the CR/IC area, primarily working on K-12 and healthcare projects. The employee will report to the Project Manager on site. There is no physical office space, promoting a dynamic and flexible work environment. A company vehicle is provided for work-related activities. The company offers a supportive environment where former consultants have grown to become project managers, demonstrating the company's commitment to employee development. Once direct, the company covers 90% of insurance costs. The market is secure, with the company being one of only three in Iowa performing this type of work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
