Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Scientist to lead the installation and calibration of flow and level monitors within sewer lines, as well as rainfall monitoring equipment. This role involves collecting, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive data on sewer flow, level, and rainfall, while ensuring all records are accurate, legible, and organized in accordance with company quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of flow and level monitors within sewer lines.
- Manage the installation of rainfall monitoring equipment.
- Calibrate flow monitors to ensure accurate measurements.
- Collect and review data on sewer flow, level, and rainfall.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and organized records in line with company quality instructions.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Environmental Science.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience in engineering and utilities.
- Certification in Hazwoper and OSHA 40.
- Understanding of hazardous waste management and wastewater systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science preferred.
- OSHA 40 certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
Work Environment
The position offers a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour days typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime available. The role involves collaboration with another Environmental Specialist and reporting to a manager. The office is located in Londonderry, NH, with projects primarily in Boston but extending as far as Bangor, ME.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
