  • Manage and process purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track and manage change orders, submittals, and contract updates to maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Monitor daily job logs and project progress to identify issues early and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and facilitate preconstruction, progress, and completion meetings with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients or owners, internal leadership, field supervisors, and accounting teams regarding project status, timelines, and costs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Conduct post-project performance analysis to evaluate outcomes, identify lessons learned, and improve future project delivery.
  • Travel regularly to project sites for site visits, meetings, and field oversight as required.
  • Support project coordination activities including scheduling, procurement planning, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and coordinate self-performed construction activities, particularly those related to environmental and stream restoration work.
Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline.
  • Proven project management experience in civil or site construction, ideally with an environmental focus.
  • Hands-on experience with stream restoration projects or closely related environmental construction work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication.
  • Experience using scheduling software to develop, maintain, and track project schedules.

  • Experience managing purchase orders and subcontract agreements, including tracking and approvals.
  • Ability to monitor and maintain project budgets and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to travel to and work at project sites as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Working background in civil or site construction, with a focus on environmental projects.
  • Experience with stream restoration construction methods and best practices.
  • Ability to lead meetings and facilitate discussions among diverse project stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct post-project performance analysis and apply lessons learned.
  • Detail-oriented approach to tracking submittals, change orders, and contract updates.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and project partners.
  • Interest in contributing to environmental improvement and restoration projects.
  • Motivation to grow within a project-focused, field-oriented construction environment.
  • Appreciation for a performance-based culture that offers profit-sharing opportunities.

This is a field-based role with daily work on active construction and environmental project sites. The Environmental Project Manager will spend significant time on site, actively patrolling the work area, observing construction activities, and coordinating with field crews and subcontractors. A construction trailer will be available as an on-site workspace for planning, meetings, and documentation.
