Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Contract)

We’re seeking a Contract Health & Safety Specialist to support a well‑established FDA‑regulated

manufacturing facility producing animal health and pharmaceutical products. This role works closely with the site’s Health & Safety Manager and

provides day‑to‑day support during a high‑activity period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the floor, partnering with operations, and gaining deeper exposure to regulated manufacturing environments—without being

buried in bureaucracy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support facility health and safety compliance initiatives
• Assist with EHS documentation, inspections, and standard operating procedures
• Help maintain compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Partner with operations and leadership on safety improvements
• Provide day‑to‑day safety support for a two‑shift manufacturing operation

This role is ideal for someone who prefers doing the work rather than just managing programs from behind a desk.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3- 5 years of experience in Health & Safety
• Manufacturing environment experience (required)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing (FDA, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, etc.)

Nice to Have

• FDA experience
• Environmental compliance experience

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
