Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of custom automation equipment and robotic systems. This role is ideal for an early‑career engineer eager to gain hands‑on experience working alongside senior engineers on real‑world industrial automation projects from concept through build and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the mechanical design of custom automation equipment, robotic cells, fixtures, and machine assemblies
- Create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings, and assemblies in SolidWorks
- Support engineering documentation including bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and revision control
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and production teams during system development and build
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
- Assist with prototype builds, troubleshooting, and on‑site equipment support as needed
- Follow engineering standards, safety requirements, and internal design best practices
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Internship, co‑op, or project experience in automation, robotics, or industrial machinery
- Familiarity with robotic systems, conveyors, or machine‑tending applications
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, custom engineering environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
