🔧 What You’ll Do

• Perform component‑level troubleshooting and repair of electrical components.
• Conduct military‑grade electronics testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and more.
• Troubleshoot and support temperature control and deicing systems used in major aircraft platforms.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Document test findings, complete accurate data sheets, and write up non‑conformances.
• Work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, collaborative engineering environment.
• Dedicate 50–75% of your workday to testing and troubleshooting activities.

✅ What You Bring

• 3 years of Electrical Technician experience in aerospace or a military environment
• OR
• A graduate with formal military electronics training or an associate/technology degree in electrical engineering who is ready to dive in and learn quickly.
• Proficiency with standard test equipment:
• • Oscilloscopes
• • Digital multimeters
• • Power supplies
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, testing fundamentals, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Strong communication skills for documenting test results, data sheets, and non‑conformances.
• Must be able to work a full‑time, 40‑hour workweek.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent engineering degree.
• Previous experience working with aerospace electronic systems, temperature controls, or deicing units.
• Familiarity with component‑level repair and FAA/military testing standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainview, NY.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
