Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician will support manufacturing processes, product testing, and experimental development. You will conduct standard tests and measurements, interpret data, and utilize results to improve processes. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, or escalating them when necessary. Effective communication is essential in written, verbal, and graphical formats across both technical and non-technical teams in English. You will reference and apply technical literature and troubleshooting guides, embracing hands-on work in varied environments, including hot, cold, or messy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes, product testing, and experimental development.
• Conduct standard tests and measurements.
• Interpret data and use results to improve processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and graphical formats.
• Reference and apply technical literature and troubleshooting guides.
• Embrace hands-on work in varied environments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with at least one CAD platform.
• Understanding of modern machining processes.
• Familiarity with metrology tools and measurement techniques.
• Strong commitment to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
• A.A.S. degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering Technology.

• Expertise in engineering, troubleshooting, schematic design, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace defense, tool design, and FEA analysis.

The position is 100% onsite in Mahwah, working five days fully onsite. You will be part of a tight-knit group of 47 employees within the organization, which operates under a shared services model with Milcots in Mahwah, covering Accounting, Payroll, and HR. The company is privately held, family-owned and operated, with a significant footprint within the government and DoD space, offering a great opportunity to have a direct impact and relationship with everyone within the organization. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
