Description
Support all internal and external audits. · Establish, revise, train, and audit internal and customers quality flow down requirements. · Partner and collaborate with technical engineers, project engineers, manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers, estimators, and shop floor employees to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved. · Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. · Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and best practices. · Provide the coordination between the engineering team, functional managers, and product line supervisor, to ensure all necessary reviews are conducted and approvals are received. · Assure and verify compliance of manufacturing methods as defined on customer purchase order, drawings, and specifications requirements. · Approve new and revise customer purchase orders during the purchase order review and validate compliance. · Collaborate with other management personnel to develop and maintain new products and design change milestones. · Manage and prioritize tooling and program requests to appropriate CNC programmers and manufacturing engineers. · Review and approve all BOM’s, manufacturing routers, fixtures designs and CNC programs. · Lead efforts pertaining to customer product reviews to include production readiness reviews when applicable. · Responsible to ensure Phase 3 tasks are completed and approvals are obtained for assigned products. · Reviews and approves all estimators quotes for accuracy and compliance to customers flow down documents. · Lead and coordinate efforts for all FAIR’s, PPAP’s, and PFMEA’s. · Review and disposition product repairs, reworks, and MRB’s. · Investigate and oversee root cause and corrective actions on assigned programs. · Lead efforts pertaining to customer escapes utilizing all other engineering members to ensure accurate data is quickly available for review by the Quality Manager. · Support, assign, and review all RFQ’s per the QMS procedures. · Participate in assigned customer communication pertaining to technical, quality, schedule, and cost. · Recommend safety and ergonomic improvements in our material handling devices, manufacturing tools, and workstations to accommodate best practices for shop floor personnel. · Participate in discussions with customers and suppliers as required. · Must be able to meet the duties and responsibility of the estimator job description. · Occasional traveling to customers and supply chain may be required. · Build our relationship and partnership with assigned customers to grow our business and sales according to management’s business plan.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 STIP Participation- varies based on role, company performance ( but we have paid out stip over the last 5 years) Role would be onsite in Palm Bay, Florida Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Participation in company Health Benefits (1st of the month, after 30 days employment ) Medical – Company covers 80%, employee 20% Dental - employee Vision - employee 401K with 5% matching (90 days employment) STD, LTD plans covered by the company Life Insurance, 2xs annual salary – covered by company Educational Assistance Program – Up to 3k per year (participation after 90 days of employment) Paid Holidays (10) Paid Time Off (13 days)
