Responsibilities
- Lead the complete embedded software development lifecycle, from initial concept through final deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions tailored for aerospace and defense applications.
- Optimize software for enhanced performance, reliability, and maintainability using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies to enhance company offerings and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Proficiency in C and C programming languages for systems programming.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with real-time Linux and RTOS.
- At least 2 years of experience in hardware-software integration with ARM platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Experience with Directed Energy and Space Domain Awareness technologies.
