Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Test Technician to join our Test Engineering team. You will play a vital role in executing and maintaining manufacturing and validation test activities for battery systems and electronic assemblies. This position requires close collaboration with Test Engineers to ensure our products meet quality, reliability, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute electrical and functional tests using test stations and documented test procedures.
• Support end-of-line (EOL) and validation testing for battery packs and PCBAs.
• Troubleshoot test failures and assist Test Engineers with root cause investigations.
• Maintain test equipment, fixtures, and lab organization.
• Accurately document test results, issues, and work instructions.
• Support continuous improvement of test processes and station reliability.

Essential Skills

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of experience as a Test Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and DAQ.
• Ability to follow test procedures and read basic electrical documentation.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting battery systems, power electronics, or test stands.
• Proficiency in electronics troubleshooting and testing.
• Skills in schematic reading and soldering.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment where you'll frequently utilize various test equipment. The position requires a hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail in documenting test results and procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Buffalo Grove,IL.
