Job Description
An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA.
- Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures.
- Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders.
- Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation.
- Maintain and update relevant documentation such as single-line drawings.
- Expertise in NFPA 70E and electrical safety management.
- 10 years of electrical contracting experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction.
- Quality-minded approach to tasks.
The role is based in data center construction environments, which require adherence to stringent safety protocols and standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.00/hr.
