What You’ll Do

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary project team, you’ll:

• Lead electrical design efforts for institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities
• Provide technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems
• Perform evaluations of electrical equipment and control systems
• Prepare design computations and ensure projects stay on budget and schedule
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives to deliver high-quality solutions
• Stay current with local, state, and federal design standards
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and building client relationships

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8 years of relevant experience
• NC PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity
• Strong technical acumen and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends
• Excellent communication and self-management skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience with interdisciplinary systems and data-driven design
• Familiarity with CAD or Revit for electrical power engineering
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE standards
• Creative mindset with a knack for presenting ideas to teams and clients

Work Environment

You’ll begin working from our RTP office for the first 3–6 months, with flexible work arrangements available afterward. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
