Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build PCB prototypes and possess experience with electromagnetic simulations and electrical circuitry. This role requires expertise in testing with network analyzers and designing passive RF/microwave components.

Responsibilities

• Design passive RF/microwave components, including high power, wideband directional couplers, and combiners.
• Utilize Electromagnetic Simulation Software for the design and verification of complex structures.
• Employ CAD software tools to design complex RF circuit layouts.
• Manage projects from the initial concept and prototyping phases through to the production phase.
• Lead and contribute to the production and fabrication of RF circuit design.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE).
• Experience with PCB design and production.
• Knowledge of RF and Microwave Components.
• Proficiency in EM Simulations.
• 3.0 GPA in relevant coursework.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Microwave Office or other EM Simulators.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor.
• Strong foundation in theory and Microwave Engineering.

Work Environment

The position is set in a manufacturing environment within a mid-size company. The engineering team consists of 8 employees, and the dress code is business casual. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The company offers paid holidays and one week of paid time off. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with customers and participate in meetings, with the ability to see products through the entire manufacturing process. The candidate will have the chance to wear many hats and contribute to the company's growth and exciting future outlook.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Patterson, NY.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
