Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems that support HVAC and plumbing installations, including power distribution and automation.
- Conduct load calculations and confirm compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Create technical drawings, wiring schematics, and conduit layouts for construction projects.
- Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing engineers to integrate electrical systems effectively.
- Perform site inspections to evaluate installations and troubleshoot electrical concerns.
- Assist with material selection and cost estimation for electrical components.
- Ensure quality control and oversee testing of electrical systems before project completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1-5 years of experience in electrical system design for HVAC and plumbing applications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical load calculation software.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and industry construction standards.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
