Electrical Designer

Description

We’re looking for an Electrical Designer who can deliver real-world electrical design in complex industrial environments. You’ll be responsible for building and delivering electrical design packages in 3D environments using NX and SolidWorks, with a strong focus on execution and constructability. What You’ll Be Doing · Develop electrical design deliverables: o One-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams o Power distribution (MV/LV), grounding, lighting o Cable tray layouts, routing, and schedules · Build designs in NX / SolidWorks: o Electrical equipment and component layout o Cable routing, cable clamping, and installation detailing o 3D coordination with mechanical and structural systems · Work directly with engineers and field teams · Support field execution, constructability, and issue resolution

· 10 years of electrical design experience in industrial environments · Strong background in: o Power distribution and plant electrical systems · Hands-on experience with: o NX and/or SolidWorks (required) o AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools · Ability to work across disciplines and solve real execution problems Nice to Have · Experience with EPC projects (Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Energy) · Familiarity with tools like AVEVA & Navisworks

This is a Contract position based out of Port Orange, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
