Develops new products Interprets customer needs to establish electrical product specifications Designs electrical systems, writes PLC logic, and completes electrical documentation Ensures new products meet functional and non-functional specifications, including safety, performance, cost, reliability, & manufacturability Devises and conducts validation tests to ensure product quality Troubleshoots operational issues and devises short and long-term remedies. Applies engineering theory to solve complex problems. Identifies & acts on opportunities for continuous improvement. 70% programming 30% hardware
