Drafter/designer

Provide MEP design services for power generation, industrial, commercial, and higher education sectors. This role often involves system upgrades and requires extensive experience utilizing AutoCAD for MEP/Structural projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform MEP design services for various sectors including power generation, industrial, commercial, and higher education.
• Utilize AutoCAD extensively for MEP/Structural projects.
• Engage in system upgrades and design improvements.
• Travel locally to client sites approximately twice a month for day trips.
• Conduct field measurements and information gathering as needed.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with 3-15 years of experience.
• Experience in drafting, design, and CAD.
• Familiarity with civil 3D and Revit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Associate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a professional environment.
• Revit proficiency preferred.
• Oil & gas experience is a bonus.
• Field experience in measurements and information gathering is a bonus.

This position offers a hybrid work setup with in-office work required on Mondays and Tuesdays. The role involves traveling locally for client site visits approximately twice a month. While in the field, a per diem of $50 per day is provided. The opportunity to support a large local utility on-site makes this role attractive.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
