We are seeking a CAD Designer to support our engineering and manufacturing teams by creating and maintaining accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and production drawings. This role focuses on translating design requirements into clear, manufacturable documentation that supports efficient production and high-quality products.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for components, assemblies, and product variations.
- Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes while maintaining proper revision control.
- Produce fabrication and assembly drawings to support manufacturing needs.
- Assist with BOM creation and updates within an ERP system.
- Support new product development and prototyping with layouts and exploded views.
- Maintain organized CAD libraries, file naming conventions, and version control.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
- Follow drafting standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure drawings meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks acceptable).
- Experience creating production drawings with proper dimensioning and tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing projects.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent CAD drafting experience.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- ERP or document management system experience is a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
