We are seeking a Distribution Designer to join our Power Distribution Engineering team. This role involves designing overhead and underground electric distribution systems and contributing to a variety of power infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Design overhead and underground electric distribution systems.
- Contribute to power infrastructure projects.
- Utilize knowledge of electric utility or telecommunications systems in design processes.
- Work with software tools such as Katapult or SPIDAcalc for project execution.
- Experience in distribution design.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with electric utility or telecommunications.
- Previous experience with Katapult or SPIDAcalc.
- Understanding of power poles and lines.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Katapult, or SPIDAcalc.
The role requires working in the office from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays. There are numerous upcoming projects offering significant opportunities for growth within the company. After a year or two, there is potential to advance within the organization by transitioning to more responsibilities and levels of engagement.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Carrollton, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
