Job Title: Detailer

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Detailer. This role involves prioritizing and processing daily detailing tasks to meet order deadlines, and ensuring effective communication with internal teams to facilitate order processing and release.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and process daily detailing tasks to meet order deadlines.
• Take customer quotes and orders and apply detailing and manufacturing instructions.
• Prepare bills-of-material within the ERP system.
• Perform product weight calculations and structural calculations using formulas.
• Communicate with internal teams (Manufacturing, Finance, etc.) to gather information to process and release orders.
• Develop and improve tools and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Identify the correct hardware combination for each manufactured part.
• Assist in the transfer of the current ERP system to the new system, Oracle.

• Engineering administration
• Data entry
• Customer service
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Technical drawing review
• Blueprint interpretation
• Oracle usage

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline, or similar certification
• Mathematical aptitude (through schooling or on-the-job experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience communicating professionally in person or on the phone
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD (no designing required in this role)

This position requires working 100% in the office at a computer. Although primarily desk-based, the role allows for opportunities to walk out and inspect products as needed, given the manufacturing plant setting. This position offers a long-term, open-ended contract with potential for growth and opportunities within other departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Hope, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
